Prince Christian of Hanover, full name Christian Heinrich Clemens Paul Frank Peter Welf Wilhelm-Ernst Friedrich Franz, was born on June 1, 1985, in Hildesheim, West Germany. He is a member of the House of Hanover, a German royal family with close ties to the British royal family.
Christian is the younger son of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and Princess Caroline of Monaco. He has an older brother, Prince Ernst August, Hereditary Prince of Hanover. Christian's grandfather was Prince Ernst August of Hanover, the head of the House of Hanover until his death in 1987.
Prince Christian studied economics and management at the University of Osnabrück in Germany. He has worked in the banking industry and currently serves as a member of the board of directors of a German-based media company.
Christian is also known for his personal life, having been involved in various high-profile relationships. In 2017, he married Peruvian lawyer Alessandra de Osma in a civil ceremony in London, followed by a religious ceremony in Peru. They currently reside in Madrid, Spain.
As a member of the House of Hanover, Prince Christian does not hold any official royal titles or duties in Germany. However, he remains an active representative of his family and is involved in charitable activities.
